Pink October: Bertina was screened, read her full story! :)
03 November 2015
As we were telling you this morning, 3,156 Gabonese women were screened by the half-way point of the campaign. These are 3,156 women who, just like Bertina Maryse, 29, chose life.Bertina was screened at the Sino-Gabonese Hospital. Read her testimony below. "Screening for women's cancers only takes a few minutes and needs only be repeated every two years. Undergoing screening means taking care of one's health, being responsible. It means having the opportunity to detect an anomaly in order to treat it in time. Also, screening is free of charge. The word on the street is that it can be painful. That's not true! Let's stop "congossa", it's your health we are talking about here. Live or die? It doesn't take me long to decide which option to choose...."
