Pink October: Eliane's testimony following her victory over breast cancer

At 36, Eliane was told she had advanced breast cancer. A few days later she was undergoing a left breast mastectomy ... despite this, Eliane has never stopped fighting and believing in her lucky stars. During these 5 years of remission, her family and her employer have been of priceless support to her, truly instrumental to her recovery. In July 2015, i.e. 6 years later, the verdict has fallen: Eliane is officially cancer-free and has been given full breast reconstruction! 

Please find below her message of hope for all those who are today going through this terrible ordeal! "Sisters, look at me, I am a living example. I am cured! Today, I am standing thanks to all those who never turned their back on

me. No, it isn't enough just to show up at a medical centre. The steps you have to take are more personal than that. You need love around you, you need to be surrounded, you need to be given enough strength and smiles to overcome this darned illness, because yes it IS tough and challenging on a daily basis .... but it is a lot easier with the support of one's loved ones. So let's fight! Together, fight to OVERCOME this disease!"
